Should we push ads today?

Every morning: is Meta itself healthy, what other advertisers are running into, what competitors are doing, what the calendar does to cost, and what to do about it. Market by market.

      Data health

Every source has an age it must stay under. Anything late shows here and in the banner at the top, so a dead feed never passes for a quiet day.

      How this works

Everything here is public data, read automatically. Nothing on this page needs anyone to update it. The VPS refreshes the brief every morning at 08:00 IST, the status pages every 30 minutes and Reddit every 6 hours; a Mac lane reads the Meta Ad Library every day and ships it to the VPS. If any source falls behind, the red banner at the top says so.

Is Meta itself healthy? Meta's delivery problems hit every country at once. The yardstick is Breezeway's daily panel of about 55 US brands, the only public daily record of how Meta ads actually performed. A bad day there makes the next day bad about twice as often as normal, so it moves the verdict. Reddit complaint bursts have a small edge, so they only count alongside something else. Meta's own status page has none: its incident days were no worse than average. These numbers are in "How much to trust each signal" and are recomputed every morning.

Political ad money comes from Meta's Ad Library report: what elections, causes and governments spent on the latest day against their 7 and 30-day averages. They buy the same feeds as everyone else, so a surge means dearer CPMs.

Competition and retail crowding come from the Ad Library: how many active ads use the phrases our audience's advertisers use, which ads they keep paying for, and how fast seasonal retail ads ("diwali offer", "black friday") are piling into the auction.

The calendar adds festivals, holidays, sale seasons, IPL and elections per market. Effects marked "prior" come from published sources until the data measures them.

What this cannot see. No public source measures India's ad performance day by day. The India verdict rests on global Meta health plus Indian calendar, political spend and competition, and its confidence says so.
